An opinion many may disagree with: Diouf is tailor-made for Inter’s bench. He can play midfield or either wing in a 3-5-2, and his impact off the bench is always strong, especially against low blocks like vs Como. Keeping him as a super sub is ideal.

  1. We also used him as a 10 in the copa match in como alongside Frattesi in a 3421 (did not work well, but tbf we weren’t trying much offensively or trying to win for that matter) and as a striker even alongside Pio against Genoa in february (that was actually decent).

The guy is versatile … so yes, I agree

(When Diouf as a GK? haha /s)

  2. I guess the term Supersub has completely lost its meaning once it starts being used referred to Andy fucking Diouf.

That said, solid performance yesterday, if he can somewhat keep it up I wouldn’t mind him stay on the bench next season.

  3. Yeah, wouldn’t call him a super sub yet but he’s a good role player for us as of now. Chivu tried him in a lot of positions currently and he’s still learning. If he don’t mind being a sub, I’m happy with him as cover for multiple positions.

  4. It’s mainly that he’s willing and not afraid to take risks if the game allows it. He’s the kind of dribbler we need but have never had; we have to give him time, he’s not ready yet.
