A man has been accused of taking a knife and drugs to Southampton Common.
Jaspreet Khunkhun, 24, of Linacre Road in Southampton, has been charged with possession of a knife blade in a public place and possession of a class B drug.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 22.
It comes after a man was arrested on the Common on Tuesday after police found a knife during a stop and search.

“These patrols have a focus on indecent exposure and offences of violence or of a sexual nature against women.
“But as officers, they are always keeping an eye out for any offences, and that’s what happened yesterday on the Common.”
