Jimmy Sinclair has caught the eye this season when he’s featured for Nottingham Forest in pre-season friendlies or the Europa League.
The versatile Forest performer is the next cab off the rank from the club’s elite academy, it would seem, with his all-action displays getting fans out of their seats.
Sinclair has played the majority of football with the B-Team still this season, and he’s helped them enjoy another decent season as a Step One academy.
Now, it would appear as though the club have made a decision on the future of Sinclair and are set to act imminently.

According to the transfer guru, Sinclair is set to be handed an extension to his existing contract as Forest look to secure the player’s future.
His work rate and commitment to the cause haven’t gone unnoticed, and the hope will be that an announcement will be made in the coming days.
Which of these two Nottingham Forest academy stars will become a first-team regular first?
Let us know in the comments below!
It’s believed that Sinclair has agreed to the new terms and will now put pen to paper on a deal until June 2028 as he continues his development.
Sinclair clearly appreciates that the pathway is clear for him at Forest, and if Premier League football is secured, he will fancy more minutes in the future.
Sinclair can play as a full-back or further forward on the flank, and it’s great news that the football club have moved quickly to tie down the talented youngster.
