Enzo is the last Chelsea player off the pitch after a disappointing performance. Enzo is just staring at the away end whilst doing up his captains arm band.

Can’t pass more than 5 yards,. can’t shoot, can’t cross. Won’t shed a single tear when he goes.

enzo and cucu staring deep into the away fans was very symbolic, they are both going after the wc.

and guess what, it’s not even fair to blame them, had maresca whom they all had a relationship and bond to just pressuring him to quit with all the bullshit signings and micromanagement after he delivered trophies and yes he had a terrible form but it was never this stretch of horrendous performances where we get slapped 3-0 every other day whereas his was down to so much individual mistakes and the red cards and the terrible defense he was crying out for when levi got injured.

but no the wanker sds had to do a mid season change because maresca called out their arrogance and signings which was always going to go bad then the appointment of this gimp of a manager not even for interim but for a whole 6 years worth of contract is certainly going into the history books. honestly don’t even know why caicedo and reece agreed to their contracts and palmer you still have time to get out.

can’t even blame a single player as everyone of them look regressed af under this guy except maybe hato and joao pedro but I don’t even think he deserves credit for that.

sanchez, cucu, caicedo, enzo have all dropped down like they have downed tools

gg cfc I think we are going down the path of spurs pretty soon because of these leeches of owners.

I feel for him kinda. Not a whole lot, but look at the passion he had just 6 months ago. It all seems to have gone completely out of the window since Maresca was sacked.

  4. Giving the armband back to him is just the ice on the cake of Liam management, hopefully it ends today, at least officially, because it ended since the 5-2 at Paris on the players head

  5. Keep players with his mentality please. Tough to replace this kind of vigor and it comes clutch when margins are thin.

  6. This L is the boldest statement to these mf owners that their “Brightonization” project is full of bs.

  7. Are the plastics gonna chase Enzo and Cucurella out like they did with most of the UCL winning squad thinking BlueCo was gonna bring you a winning formula? It’s like the only way some of you can see a player go is if you hate them. With some rare exceptions our players always left on good terms until BlueCo’s PR turned our fanbase into a toxic mess.

We could certainly upgrade in many areas but the issue with club isn’t the players. It’s the people running club.

Edit: I wasn’t asking for examples. Someone of you lot can’t help yourselves.

I say this for Enzo. In a game where everyone put in shitty performances and I mean everyone, at least he tried at times . That pass to Gusto who found himself alone in the box was our best chance at a shot on target . I know ppl want to hate him for all the comments he made but I feel like a hypocrite because at the state our club is being run, I can understand it

Omen. I like to imagine they like the club and the fanbase.

It’s showing where we’re at when we’re begging for our best players to stay rather than looking forward to the future.

Love the reactions towards him here, absolutely loathing him for no other reason than saying he’d like to live in Madrid because it’s similar to Buenos Aires. He was one of the only players bar Cucurella and Sanchez that showed up today. Yet, they still hate on him for caring about the fans, and staying behind after the humiliation we got today.

No wonder why we have/had bang average players like Gallagher, Delap and co. Fans would rather rate players who look heroic with their tackles, and runs around a lot over one who can actually progress the ball, control the tempo, and distribute properly.

  11. SweeterStorm on

Getting rid of him would be a mistake, especially since the club will replace him with someone much worse.

  12. He is just as average as the rest of them. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out Enzo

  13. He tried his best today

Its sad to see it all play out like this. Incompetence from the top has fucked us over big time. Now he will likely leave in the summer, there is obviously a rift between him and the higher ups.

We can only hope that this was the lowest point and Losenior gets the sack together with the ones responsible for him getting this job in the first place. Its been long overdue, we played like shit tactically ever since rosenior came in, even in the games that we won.

Ive been saying it for weeks, but at the very latest rosenior should have been gone after the international break when it was clear that his shitty pressing tactics are still not working.

Fuck this madridista. He’s a big part of this mess. Anyways when a fucking leader of the club, the captain will actually make a real impact on the result and his team? Being a leader of Garnacho and Jorgensen isn’t enough

  15. It’s performative bullshit. He knows the cameras are on him.

It’s almost as if he publicly twerked for Madrid, resulting in an enforced two match club suspension, and feels like he has to make it up with the fanbase somehow? If he actually cares, as our vice captain, he’ll come out and give an after match interview but we all know he won’t.

Clearlake has a deep misunderstanding of what it takes to manage a football club.

  17. Confident-Ice-4608 on

He was poor and has been for some time, people need to see it for what it is .

  18. We could genuinely be joining Tottenham in the championship next season, I’m not even joking

  19. Truly can’t blame any player for wanting to jump ship. The project bullshit has failed. The ownership are way too arrogant to truly make any changes. And who will buy the cast-offs for an actual fair price?

  20. DandyChigginsSenior on

Let’s face it, people who hate him were hating him way before that stupid interview, they’re just using it as an excuse now.

  21. Anyone hating on any of our players is not a true fan. At this point it is on the fans to support our players through the rough times we are facing. I could care less what Enzo says on some wank youtube channel and I couldn’t care more about what he does on the pitch. This is not a player issue. This is a management issue. Maresca was a world class manager who was getting dumbed down and couldn’t take it anymore. Guess who had us in second earlier this season with a chance to go three points behind arsenal if Caicedo didn’t get sent off? Some of you are pure plastic and fall for all of the media propaganda.
