Rosenior: “I’m hurting, I’m numb, that did not represent this club”. Some of the things I saw today I never ever want to see again. Something needs to change drastically right now. We need to look in the mirror.” I will pick a team on Sunday who will represent the club in the correct manner.

  1. Don’t pick the most negative team possible then and then be surprised when we play like shit mate

  2. Players have clearly downtooled and manager has lost dressing room. We should’ve sacked him during international break

  3. Mynameisntjamesok on

He’s right. Even if Chelsea were managerless that performance was shameful from some of them. Some of them have been getting off light recently with him in the firing line.

  4. Is he gonna address the reason for wasting an entire first half with a nonsensical back 3 setup where no one had a clue what to do offensively/defensively?

  5. Drewskibroho on

Multiple things can be right. He fucking sucks, but a lot of these players are very entitled and aren’t worth a fraction of what we paid for them.

  6. Maresca won the club world cup with the same squad, and defeated Barcelona and Liverpool this season.

  7. Well we are being represented by a young inexperienced manager managing players with no leaders. No shit we are fucked.

  8. If this doesn’t get Rosenior out, I don’t know what will.

The problem is also the sporting directors, and the owners. That’s more difficult to change than the manager.

And all the bad players that are on 8-10 year contracts. They play without care as their future is secured.

  9. “We need to look in the mirror”

    Buddy…. Buddy…. You can’t be that clueless…

  10. Hopefully the changes start with him leaving.

Also directors and Egghead leaving the crap out of the club.

  11. Good thing he threw the players under the bus, now he will probably be sacked but also some of these players needed calling out

  12. Today was shocking, but in a number of ways since he took over I don’t think things are as bad as they seem (in terms of shots generated, expected goals, expected points etc – it’s mostly come down to bad finishing and some of our players are absolute fucking donkeys). I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m surprised the sentiment here is so strongly against him, For me it’s much more a problem with recruitment and the club management than it is Liam

  13. The players do have to look at themselves because they’ve dropped tools when it matters most. I don’t give AF if you might not want to play for a coach (which is absurd in itself for professional players employed at this club) but the least we ask is to show some fight and desire.

It’s so effing infuriating. I really don’t believe that the tactics are so bad the players don’t know what to do. This same team went out and beat Aston Villa 1-4 away so I’m not buying the BS and defence of these players. They are capable.

I mean he has to go at this point but the players should be ashamed, that was a disgraceful performance and miles worse than whatever happened with Utd

    >3-4 nowhere near this club

    ill name them.
fofana, neto, garnacho, delap and the you forgot about one more, it’s yourself you wanker.

  16. “”Tonight was not [about] tactical. This was about desire, spirit, courage and I did not see enough of that tonight.”

Mate, it literally was about tactical. You set the team up entirely wrong and we played one of the worst halves of football I’ve ever seen from us. Second half was better for the first 10 minutes when we switched to 4 at the back, but then conceded a second and game was gone.

Looks and sounds like he’s about to cry here though. As much as I think he’s the wrong man for the job, for his own wellbeing (and ours) he needs to move on. Please god.

  17. Feel like he’s already been sacked. I actually quite like the interview and went in pretty hard to these shit players, first time he didn’t feel like a puppet. So yeah, I think he’s been sacked already tbh.

Liam dropped Sanchez for PSG, and killed his confidence – he was one of our best players this season prior to that

His not rested James and played him in midfield with Santos on the bench and now his injured and misses the season

The players are lacking confidence in the tactics and belief and that’s why you see Neto turn back, his so wary of a counter attack he doesn’t want to risk it

Playing 3atb against Brighton was strange and knee jerk

Just doesn’t come across as a manager with any forethought or planning.

He looks like he asks ChatGPT what to say half time

  19. Its the not coach guys.

I hate saying it, but we’ve been through a ton of coaches. At some point, you have to look at the leadership and lack of squad. No one is going to come in here and make us competitive with the injuries coupled with lack of depth and experience.

Poor guy has finally just took the mask off and given up. Its not his fault, he took a dream job that anyone would. It also wasn’t Maresca’s fault or Potter or Poch or Lampard. It’s time to stop blaming managers and accept that this team will never be elite again with the mentality and “strategy that this trash ownership have. The manager blaming used to work with a good owner that knew how to fix shit. But the club no longer has that under this investment firm’s leadership

  21. This brought back Mou’s 2015 interview when he threw folks under the bus – no way he survives this. Multiple things can be true. The players are mentally weak, our manager is out of his depth, and our ownership is comprised of sycophants and narcissists.

  22. No love for Rosenior but we covered 94km.. and we’ve covered the lowest distance in the league this season. Less than Wolves. This is also on Maresca. And of course the SDs, BlueCo. Everyone has done their damage in different ways.

  23. BigAssBreadroll on

I do somewhat feel for him. He’s not good enough but this was obvious to everyone and he should never have been considered. He’s taken a lot of personal abuse which I do not think is deserved. Id much rather we directed our anger at Eghbali.

  24. bluediamondsm on

This is rough 😬 it’s rough that I feel a bit bad for him tho he’s done his best and was brought in at the start of January and went from a promising start to dark days really quickly. It’s total management issues 🙁

  25. TraditionalHome8852 on

I think it’s clear that the players are trying to sabotage him and he has only just realised

  26. Confident_Direction on

    Fair play to him.

He might not even get that game but even if so, at least he had the dignity to say it as it is

Chelsea have been outrun in all 34 games this season. If you think this is a problem with Rosenior, you haven’t got a clue.

The results under Maresca turned to shit as soon as he started flirting with City. He threatened to walk out of the job on the spot, just the same as he did at Leicester.

Clamouring for Maresca is dumb. Claiming the ownership is bad for moving managers on is dumb. Wishing for Abramovich back is dumb (who famously sacked manager upon manager upon manager).

The squad need to take a real look at themselves, and something needs to change before we start next season. We can only hope to perform in the FA Cup and have a decent enough pre season and transfer window to go into 2026/27 with something to hope for.

  28. VicTappyChapsaddle on

Liam has been poor and not at this level. But this falls squarely on Clearlake and the sporting directors. They did not at all adequately recruit and manage the squad for a season after CWC, with UCL, and ahead of a World Cup. This is on them and they have to go.
