The second goal and the last corner kick…

    I don’t know.

This said 100 times Better than this Sommer

Let him play every game left and then we’ll see in the summer. He’s certainly a good goalkeeper

  3. Some of his buildup passes were so surgical they could’ve nicked an artery. But between the goal posts he was almost exemplar. I’m in.

Absolutely, given how little playing time he’s gotten, damn fine performance. The second goal is such a blunder from Zielinski and then Acerbi not blocking.

Last corner was meh, but I’ve seen all keepers do that.

Keep martinez, bring stankovic back as a back up. We got to trust these young keepers with promise. 30 million for a goal keeper is actually alot, and to me vicario is definitely not worth that fee. I just don’t see our management’s love affair with vicario, especially overpaying so much for him.

I don’t think Martinez is the answer for us but I also think he’s better than current Vicario so I’d rather test out Martinez til January and use the Vicario money on a CB who can help protect Martinez instead of put him in bad situations like Acerbi did today

He’s literally better than Vicario has been in the past 1.5 years. And he’s younger and he’s already in the club

  8. Martinez looking good.

I know 2nd & 3rd goal maybe rub people the wrong way. “Why didn’t he move?” That’s up for debate if instinctively late saves are worth it/matters.

Josep Martinez saved many one on ones. While looked nervous at times(past games), but always got the job done.

It’s hard to find a better keeper based on what he displayed so far.
