Utd don't need to break the bank to replenish the midfield. Stach, Manzambi & Lewis-Skelly would provide ample support for Mainoo.
what luck we'd have to sign tchouameni. was never in conversation to bring him in bc of how good he is for real. now that they want rodri, we got a shot of bringing him in. I think we should bring in an affordable 8 afterwards. MAYBE mateus fernandes but he might be pricier than expected. ao tanaka is a good shout as well as backup 8/6

I really dont see him leaving. I have no clue where this rumor came from, unless madrid views rodri as a direct upgrade. As a madrid fan, I would not like to see him leave. I think he can potentially be used better if he is given more responsibility on the ball, though I think he can be weak defensively at times. He loses his marker quite a lot and makes the team vulnerable to late runs into the box

I agree with your comment near the end, buy young that way you have the player for a long time they will also cost less ( the hard part is getting the right player) and I agree they need to buy up to three midfielders. This option may allow to strengthen elsewhere which is also need. I hope they can get it right. If they don’t the coach will get the blame.

Baleba is nowhere near the level of Tchouameni
I can't see the logic in Real going for Rodri and moving Tchouameni on when you consider that Rodri is 29 and has had injury issues whilst Tchouameni is 26 and has been reliable in midfield and can also cover CB if need be. Hopefully I'm wrong. He'd be a good fit in the post Casemiro era
