I just saw on Twitter that Andrea Agnelli didn’t fire Marotta because of Ronaldo or anything related to him. All this time, I thought that was the reason. Can anyone explain to me what the actual reason was, please?

As far as i know, he was not fired. He walken away, because the purchase of cr7 was the complete opposite of his way of managing the club and was vehemently against it. But when he was overruled and he walked and he was right.

I have heard from people with connections that he was taking money for himself during transfer deals

He left because he was overruled in the decision of being against Ronaldo, he knew it was a stupid move and he was honestly right, now Inter dominates cause of that fucking cock sucker joining us

He was fired in every possible sense without actually being fired. Agnelli basically replaced him with Paratici who took over his duties at the club while Marotta was still at the club (direction, transfers, etc.) so the only thing left for him to do was resign.
