I remember that he had Cambiasso and Zanetti close in on Messi whenever he got the ball in an advanced position, and Motta and Cambiasso whenever he got a ball in the midfield area.
But I remember that what really broke Barça was his ability to shut down Xavi and Iniesta, and he was the only one to ever do it.
