🗣️ Hansi Flick in the Press-Conference before the match against Celta Vigo:

❝Matches against Celta are always tough. We have to play as well as possible, but it won’t be easy. They have players who control the game very well.❞

🗣️Flick on the Morale following the UCL Elimination:

"For me, every season is a journey. We have a young squad, and this hurts deeply. We need to improve in the upcoming matches; this is something that must motivate us to take action, fine-tune the details, and get better.”

🗣️Flick further on the UCL:

"The Champions League is a great dream. This is what life is all about; we have a fantastic team for the coming years. We need to make the right decisions regarding this summer's transfer market. The team is young, and there is immense potential for us to keep improving. I want to be the coach in this stadium once it is finished. I always say that I, along with my entire staff, give our absolute best for this club; I am very happy with how things operate here. It feels like a second family, and there is so much energy.“

Flick: "I want to renew My plan is to renew. It will be the final stage of my career. I have a very good feeling about it; I want to renew my contract, but now is not the time to discuss it."

🗣️Flick on the rest days:

"I think that if you are the league champion, it's fantastic. These days off have come at a good time. In this situation, it is important to learn from defeats and from the past; the team has a very good spirit and feels energized."

🗣️Flick on how he feels in Barcelona:

“This is where I feel that the entire environment represents the best stage of my career. My family is very happy, my staff is happy, all the vibes are excellent; it is fantastic to witness all of this.”

🗣️Flick on his dream and the club’s dream:

“With a club like Barça, the dream of winning the Champions League is something we must fight for together, and next year, we will give it another shot."

🗣️Flick on his time here as coach so far:

"When we arrived, no one expected that we would already have four titles. I think it's fantastic, because it's not just about the titles, but about how we play football; the fans and players are happy. The president gave me a letter when I arrived and told me that it's not just about winning, but about how you play—and for me, the way we do it is a success."

🗣️Flick on injuries and absences:

"In this sport, it’s all about the small details. At this stage—the end of the season—it is crucial to have every player available. De Jong and Raphinha were missing; that’s not an excuse, but it is significant.”

🗣️: “Last year, we had Iñigo, who was fantastic… we need leadership. I am very pleased with what I see in training, but in a Champions League quarterfinal, we need mature players who can lead."

🗣️Flick on Roony:

"Roony is a fantastic professional. I know he is hoping for more playing time, but sometimes that is just how it is. We have a player in his position who is one of the best in the world. I have spoken with him; he came from Copenhagen to Barça, he plays alongside the best in the world, and he has improved significantly. We will discuss it at the end of the season. Right now, we need every player to be motivated and performing at their absolute best."

🗣️Flick on the Number 9 links floating around:

"This is not the time to talk about the number 9. Right now, we need every player, and we will see what we need once the season ends. Our ideas regarding the transfer market are clear. For the moment, however, it is not the time to discuss them."

  1. Considering the our financial situation, Flick has actually done really well. I know some people think we’ve been underwhelming in the CL, but it’s a hard competition to win, especially against teams who can afford to spend hundreds of millions. Flick has made do with what he has and I respect him for it a lot.

  2. Full faith going forward- you’ve instilled a winning mentality – can’t believe i was excited about a barca game after going 4-0 down(unfortunate events).

Been a long time, i can wait a little longer.
Just hope the board backs this young and talented squad with proper reinforcement.
Can’t wait to see flick’s system in proper flow with the right players

As a club our priority should be facilitating Flick and his plans because if he can achieve so much with the given squad a couple of good signings will make us the most dominant European side no doubt. The current side is strong but we have cracks that tear apart at the worst possible time and cast doom for our UCL campaigns. If we somehow overcome those small, inconvenient moments, we can easily win the UCL trophy.
