In theory I don’t mind this sort of thing, and it’s not totally crazy to think Delap might be better served by wide crosses than interior 1-2s. There’s a lot you can si about the flaws of the two in this story but this isn’t one of them

Nothing really wrong with this, if you’re a winger that can play both wings, and the other winger can as well, and you’re not having much success then switching sides makes sense.
