The 27-year-old has netted 28 goals in all competitions, with two games left to play in the regular campaign as the Robins push for promotion in the fourth tier.

Drinan was also named in the League Two Team of the Season and has been vital for Ian Holloway’s side, who sit sixth in the table, three points off the final automatic promotion spot.
The Irishman has been transformed this season, which is especially impressive as he missed the final three months of the last campaign with a posterior cruciate ligament [PCL] injury.

Speaking after winning the award, Drinan said: “My goals are down to the team putting chances on a plate for me, and I’ve been lucky enough to take them.
“It’s been up and down for us to be honest, but we are hanging on in there, and we’ll keep going until the end.”
In total, Drinan notched one goal in 24 appearances during his spell at Portman Road.
He left the Blues to join Leyton Orient in the summer of 2021, helping the O’s win the League Two title in 2022/23 before signing for Swindon in February 2024.
