5th is a CL spot already but 5th is only a spot because of the European extra slot which is allocated based on league performance and it’s given to the highest ranked club who hasn’t secured CL football through the natural routes (top 4 or by winning the cl or Europa league)

So we need to support ManU and Liverpool in PL, support Villa in Europa League, be anti villa in PL and win some games of football ourselves? Quite doable.

It’d be more than we deserve if we somehow wind up with UCL again next year.
Honestly, I’ve kind of accepted that we won’t be getting UCL next season. We’re still too young, too inexperienced, and too injury-riddled to really make a push for anything more than UCL spot push right now.

We got fucking 1 win in the last 8 games. We’ll be lucky to finish in the top half of the table with how slim the margin is.
