Curtis Jones on Everton: “This shows the team that we are and the team they are. They’re celebrating that they’re 2 points behind us in one of our worst years. If that’s what they take as a stepping stone or a step in the right direction then pffttt, I don’t know”

  1. Selling him would be the cherry on top of the shit sundae we’ve been served this season

  2. Frustrating to watch at the end. He was frustrated at playing RB and not being in the thick of things. So much so that he walked well out of position and set up the chance that gave us a corner (from which we scored).

I can’t blame him for being pissed off but he has to put up with it, just like Szobo has for much of the season.

Liverpool without a native Scouser feels properly blasphemous, we cannot get rid of him. He might not be a world-class player technically, but he has spirit and passion, and that’s uncoachable in the right kind of player

  4. The fact that at the end he said how important it was for us to play in UCL, made it seem like he wanta to stick around.

Love this. People on this sub are way too soft on Everton imo.

Don’t feel sorry for them, they’d jump at the chance to ridicule us. Their players are brutes and this was the first Derby I’ve seen where we’ve gone without an awful challenge on one of our players

Remind them of their place just like Curtis lad

  6. He was really really good at RB and he and szobos covered each other. Really stepped up for yhe occasion! Hope he play starts more towards the end of the season

  7. I mean last year they were celebrating drawing against us in their home stadium while we were chasing premier league title. Pathetic club and fans.

  8. I’d love to see a manager really go into developing him into what we all see he’s capable of

  9. I would be so disappointed if we sold him. You can’t replace the type of connection he has and I never really doubt his effort.

I am not bothered by some of his inconsistency mainly because of the manner he’s been used this year. It’s almost expected.

Really hope he signs a new deal

  10. Would be silly to think about selling this lad. If Hughes sells Curtis, I pray he never experiences the cold side of the pillow again in his life.

No matter the complains we sometimes have, selling people like him would be idiotic.

There should always be a scouser on the team, and unfortunately he’s the only one we’ve had, who can also play at a certain level, since Stevie. The only one. No one else, unfortunately
