      he hasn’t played a lot tho Arne has he, just a handful of mins just now at the end of the season. And yes it does happen from time to time its not some rare occurrence

      Really enjoyed his own joke there didnt he haha. Why not look at an actual right back? Jones is mostly fine defensively but way too nonchalant on the ball in that position

      This is not funny. The injuries we’ve had are partly because of our poor training intensity and the coach refusing to use any substitutions. How oblivious can he really be?

      I do like the guy, I really do. He’s funny, compassionate, says things as they are, maybe a bit too much for everyone’s taste.

      I just don’t know if he’s the guy. If he can navigate us to more CL next year then I guess another summer might help, but come October/November he’s going to have to be delivering decent results consistently.

      I can’t get behind anyone who thinks this fella is a bad fit for Liverpool FC. Fronts up, is clear and honest, plus is capable of seeing the funny side.

      I’d be willing to make a list of things Arne Slot has got wrong this season, because he has made some mistakes. But I don’t think a different coach would have been flawless this season, and if anyone had coached the team flawlessly this season we’d still be miles off where we were hoping to be.

      Christ, some of the misery guts in here. Laughing at a lighthearted joke he said in a press conference (following a derby that we won) is not a commitment to declaring that Slot should be offered a new 5 year contract you know.

      He’s not the guy.
      He ruined everything that Klopp built. He’s a coward and the players play like cowards under him.
      The sooner he leaves, the better.

      I have no issues with Slot as a person, he genuinely seems like a nice guy. I actually almost feel bad for him.

      I just don’t think he has the mindset to lead a team like Liverpool. It’s easy to say all the right things when your team is winning, but when things are tough that’s where leadership is really tested.
