      Attacking revamp strategy is paying off. Now we need a similar summer for the midfield.

      The fact our whole new front 3 has done this is pretty crazy. And you know they all have much more to give

      Adding in assists is a good way to avoid saying none of our players have scored more than 10 this season. 

      I believe both Mbeumo and Cunha very much over performed last season so it’s no surprise to me that they’ve been unable to match their numbers of goals for us.

      +32 goal contributions from our signings, and a competent keeper in the net that has prevented 5.8 goals( league high) with an 89% save percentage.

      Taking us near a +40 goal contribution difference from our signings.

      Unbelievable recruitment. Hoping we continue the trend this summer.

      These are frankly disappointing returns. And it’s not like they do very much outside of these stats.

      Get CL secured but much has to change. Sesko can’t be the main striker (yet). Need further competition in all forward positions.

      The next manager must present clear ideas for increasing the amount of play in and around the box, regardless of the preferred style.

      Last season only Bruno and Amad scored more than 7 goals in the league (both scored 8)
      This season we have five players who scored more than 7 (Sesko, Cunha, Mbeumo, Bruno, Casemiro)

      The fact we don’t have 1 player scoring 25 goals doesn’t matter when our threat is consistent throughout our attacking unit. It was Luis Enrique who said he’d rather have 5 players who score 10 goals than 1 scores 30.

      Good optics when combined, but its quite sad that none of the front three have hit double digits in goals.

      What happened to my boy amad ?
      I really thought he would receive an upgrade as well. Not saying he plays bad but he did regress. He plays a slightly different role but still does the same tricks when receiving the ball. That is cutting in and shooting. He still contributes for the team but concerning his g/a he isn’t able to do much.

      I would say he should be getting more assists but goals? He’s limited. He keeps doing the same thing. His shots keep getting blocked like 90% of the time. He needs to play differently if he wants to score.
