Joe Worrall will forever be remembered as a promotion hero at Nottingham Forest after leading the Reds back to the Premier League.
Worrall was the captain on that memorable day at Wembley Stadium as Forest defeated Huddersfield to end 23 years of waiting to return to the Premier League.
🔠How would you rate Joe Worrall’s time as a Nottingham Forest player?
The homegrown defender played for Forest for two seasons in the Premier League before leaving the City Ground ahead of last season to sign for Burnley.
Worrall returns to Nottingham for the first time to face his former club on Trentside with the Clarets today, and there is one thing that he’s keen to do against his former club.

The defender has been nothing more than a backup for Burnley this season, but it would appear as though he’s got a firm desire to play against Forest today.
Burnley will be all but relegated if they don’t win at the City Ground and Forest really have to capitalise on a miserable season for the Clarets so far.
Worrall was asked about the Reds ahead of the contest and is keen to play against his former club for the first time.
He said: “Yeah, I’d love to play there. Yeah, again, it’ll be nice to see familiar faces go back to the old cliche answers, but I want to play. I want to step on that pitch. I want to feel the turf.
“I want to stand in front of the Trent End and the Bridgeford End. I did that for a lot of years and had some great times, and that’s my overriding feeling is giving the best account of myself for Burnley as I can, and hopefully I get the opportunity.”
Worrall has a lot of respect in the eyes of the Forest fan base for the work he achieved at the club, coming through the academy and helping achieve the promotion goal.
The centre-back has struggled for minutes since signing for Burnley and he will be keen to help the Clarets prolong their stay in the Premier League.
Scott Parker will have a decision to make and with relegation close to being confirmed, it remains to be seen whether he will hand Worrall a start against his former club on Trentside.
