Paris Saint-Germain have been the best team in the world over the last year, and Arsenal learned that the hard way in 2025.
The Gunners faced Luis Enrique’s side in the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, and they were knocked out by them.
PSG went on to win the competition, and many see them as one of the favourites to go all the way again this time around.
Irrespective of what happens in the remaining games, the French champions will be active in the summer transfer window. One of PSG’s targets is Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal.
Is Gabriel Martinelli the best Brazilian in the Premier League right now? If not, who is?

Gabriel Martinelli’s future at Arsenal is up in the air.
The Brazilian is an incredible player on his day, but he has struggled for consistency all season, especially in the Premier League.
Martinelli will enter the final two years of his contract this summer, and this would be a good time for both parties to go their separate ways.
A few clubs have been linked with a move to sign Martinelli this summer, including Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain.

L’Equipe have revealed now that PSG sporting director Luis Campos held a meeting with the Arsenal number 11’s representatives in London recently.
Talks were also held with the agents of Yan Diomande, who is a target for Arsenal, ahead of a potential move for one or both players this summer.
It remains to be seen what will happen in the coming months, but if a good offer arrives for Martinelli from PSG or any other club, Arsenal should accept it.

Despite his questionable form this season, Martinelli is one of Arsenal’s most valuable assets for a sale.
The former Ituano star will fetch the Gunners a good sum of money this summer, but Andrea Berta could use him in a completely different way.
Along with PSG, Atletico Madrid have also been linked with a move to sign Martinelli, which is good news for the North Londoners.
If Atleti’s interest is serious, Berta should try to include Martinelli in a swap deal to sign Julian Alvarez in the upcoming summer transfer window.
If PSG push more, the Arsenal sporting director should try to get Khvicha Kvaratskhelia or Bradley Barcola in a deal that would see Martinelli going the other way.
Any of those three deals would benefit Arsenal massively.
