Apple TV announced that a fourth series of the comedy‑drama, created by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly, will be returning this summer after production began in July 2025.

The drama followed Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, as he manages the struggling AFC Richmond Football Club, with various locations around Richmond used to shoot the series since it first aired in 2020.

The new series is expected to shift towards the women’s team division, departing from the previous few series, with numerous locations around London potentially appearing in the fourth chapter, including a familiar south east London location.

Selhurst Park, ground of Crystal Palace F.C., has been used to film in the last few seasons of the show, serving as the fictionalised AFC Richmond Nelson Road Stadium.

The exterior of the Holmesdale Road End is the most recognisable part of the ground used on screen, which serves as the front entrance to the stadium.

Located in Croydon, the stadium can be visited by fans of the show by attending a Crystal Palace match to see the ground in action.

The grounds were purchased by Crystal Palace FC from the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Company in the 1920s, with the stadium designed by Scottish architect Archibald Leitch.
