Xavi is a glory hog unfortunately, he scored a belter and came good that time but quite a few times he picks the selfish choice, this one eventually got released to Gray but like others are pointing out, the priority for him was having the ball himself to find an angle to shoot, he could see the headlines.

Considering the criticism coming into today was his decision making wasn’t fast enough I’m glad he made it quickly even if it’s arguably the wrong one. Also not for nothing but that was a decent shot gray got. He just made nothing of it.
