  1. not that long ago, a club legend and his family got abuse, hate and death threats. His wife and family suffered. That legend left with no farewell or a proper send off. People forgot those special moments we were treated to from that Legend (the dying seconds in Istanbul when Ederson made that save and we came home with the CL) – Rodri has done so much for this club. The hate and abuse being thrown at Rodri in the last 24hrs wont help the club with their efforts to keep Rodri. Also, hate and abuse will only push Rodri further away from this club. Do we really want to do that? Rodri seen first hand what Ederson went through and here we are again seeing the hate abuse now being thrown at another club legend? Lets get behind Rodri, lets respect him and when the time comes, lets send him off with a legend send off. I think the lad deserves this. 💙💙💙💙for Rodri

  2. Even though the timing of it isn’t the best, I honestly don’t blame Rodri for wanting to leave, seeing the consistent regression in quality ever since the Treble season raises questions on its own, plus after achieving everything in England, it’s probably his last opportunity to try to win some major trophies in his home country while still earning top cash, and more importantly his personal life is taking a turn, planning to start a family of his own is a big step in life and being close to his and his wife’s parents will be extremely important imo.
All we can say is- Thank you Rodri for everything you’ve done for us, and wish him all the best. He’ll always be be our first Ballon d’Or winner for our club and the first goal scorer of a winning goal that won us our first Champions League trophy 👏🫡

  3. Maybe he is sick of playing in the cold and rain. From MC's point of view, he will never reach his pre-injury heights and as his pace declines he will find the premier league harder and harder. MC have great midfield talent to replace him. So not a great loss if he goes.

  4. I think it's because Rodri knows a younger buck(s) will replace him next year & maybe too many games & the pace of the English game is getting a bit too much for his liking. Still, let's not forget what he's done for us.

  5. Vini took to X after the balon dor and started mocking him, i can't remember the exact quote but it was something to do with him having so many years to claim so many more than him. So for him to say there was no issue between them and it was us that created that, feels like a punch to the gut if that makes sense mate

  6. We are slowly turning it ta a basic big 6 fanbase arrogantly demanding unrealistic expectations maybe it’s just the British top tier football culture no dig look at the Bayern fanbase Real Madrid levels but soo humble i hope we never loose our identity like man utd have

  7. Ah, come on, man! Look what he's done for you at City. Every other club was jealous. The man won the Ballon d'Or, and he's given you the very best of his prime. Surely, he's earned that final move for the last of him. Just my take, man. Love the content. ❤️

  8. Firstly two things will happen when Rodi leaves City, the sun will still come up in the morning and Nico G will get his chance to prove just how good he is.All this is is a foreign footballer who wants to go home, and yet some city fans are treating it either like an act of betrayal or a death in the family,I stand behind no man or woman in my admiration for Rodri, and i thank him from the bottom of my heart for what he has given us,but if he wants to leave then so be it,we move on.Secondly.you have to say that he has been badly advised in doing this interview, regardless of the motives, and sometimes it's not that you're leaving but the way you leave. There are a lot of city fans who were offended on Rodri's behalf over what happened over the award, but how many of us actually know Rodri the man,and whether or not he was bothered by all the fuss surrounding it?In some City fans case this is the classic we hate you now because we loved you so much.Yes,he was silly to do the interview, but hands up everyone who's done something silly in their lives.

  9. Rodri should be on the bench rest of the season, then give him a proper send off in the last game. We have to think about whats best for us, and if he wants to leave then so be it. Play Nico G and lets focus on the future and players who want to be here and fight.

  10. I didn't expect dis from Rodri,a leader in team but am not worried if he doesn't play for CITY anymore, everyone of us know we can win games convincingly without Rodri(Gonzalez)my biggest worry is PEP's future. This Rodri situation makes me appreciate Bernardo Silva even more as a Club legend🩵👏

  11. I've got a son who has some autism & I've always thought Rodri is a similar guy. He doesn't care what he wears, doesn't care if peeps rib him about it. He doesn't have anything to do with social media & started researching his future at 14. So this doesn't surprise me 😂. He's still worried about planning his future & maybe doesn't say things in the most diplomatic way all the time, but he doesn't mean any disrespect.

  12. Real will not buy as they are not willing to pay a lot of money for a man that is 30 they only pay a lot a money for young talents ,if they waited for mbappe to be free then there's no chance that they will buy rodri , especially after the hazard fiasco

  13. What you say about Rodri and how they disrespected him on the night of his award is exactly the first thing I thought. As you say it wasn't so much the players at RM who pulled that disgrace it was the club having a strop because one of their players didn't win it.
