In my opinion, the ‘Ankara Messi’ goal against Getafe in 2007 is the best goal in the club’s history. Not just because of Messi’s sheer brilliance and flow-state dribbling, but because of its place in the club’s history and what the moment itself foreshadowed. Getafe also had one of the strongest defenses in the league at that point which makes it that much more impressive.
