Not shocking at all. We absolutely stink against low block teams. Lack of a proper midfield duo to give control will do that.

My real issue is the only one of these games we actually deserved to win was the Burnley one away

This is the story of vibes managers like ole and Carrick. We cannot keep Carrick into next year if we’re serious about competing consistently

As is tradition at this point lol

Actually mental when you think where we could be if we didn’t piss around against these teams. Even if we just won the home games we’d be laughing

The bottom teams are more than good enough to make the top teams pay for it if they are not on their A-game. We saw Wolves steal points from both Arsenal and Liverpool pretty recently.

Amorim out.

I just want to say that 3 of the bottom 6 teams are Tottenham, West Ham, and Forest. They don’t perform as well this season, but those teams still have powerful players.
The other three are not excuses.

I think losing six points to teams with ten men is worse!

We need 2 CB, 1RB, 1LB, 2CDM, 1LM, 1RM, 1ST and 2CAM.
Thats the only way we can then complete for all trophies.
Next season who ever the manager is we will not be able to complete and finish in the top 5 again until the recruitment is done right.

It doesn’t work that way lad. Arsenal and City have lost points against these opponents as well. You win some, you lose some and you draw some. That’s the way it is but we definitely squandered lots of good opportunities under Amorim.

Let’s imagine a world where Carrick was our manager for the entire season. We still don’t win the league, he’s been fantastic….. But the squad doesn’t have the depth to get it done.

Win matches, win titles who would have thunk it
Tottenham, lol.
lol yes this theory works for all clubs but the point is the bottom half is very competitive and you will win some and lose some.
A 97th min penalty also got the 3 points at home against Burnley. It’s been rough against the bottom this season.
Yet when I say this, people downvote like idiots: https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/comments/1sjkqos/comment/ofse9z4/?context=3
