Hampshire police spotted a white Ford Transit van on Redbridge Lane in Nursling at around 10.30pm on Thursday, April 16, showing no insurance and registered to “Mr Egg Head”.
Inside the van, officers found cloned number plates and three Honda dirt bikes.
A 35-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, and a 42-year-old man, all from Melksham, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, in connection to the bikes.
They remain in police custody.
The driver, the 35-year-old man, was able to show day insurance for the vehicle had been bought earlier that day, police said.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish ownership of the bikes and van.
