The East Anglian Derby defeat last weekend brought an end to any lingering play-off hopes, with just four games left in the campaign. However, Philippe Clement was keen to stress that his squad still have plenty to play for, as they look to impress ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Belgian will not be on the touchline at Ashton Gate after picking up his third caution since his appointment against Ipswich, having previously been booked against Coventry and Middlesbrough. His assistant, Stephan Van Der Heyden, will instead lead the team from the technical area.

Gabe Forsyth has suffered another setback. He had been undergoing a rehab programme as he targeted a return following a knee injury sustained in November 2024.
Lucien Mahovo (muscular) is set for a return to the grass next week, but is against the clock for a return with just three games remaining after this weekend.
Ruairi McConville returned to the matchday squad last week after missing the Easter round of fixtures with a knee injury sustained on international duty, and is likely to be in contention to return to the starting XI.
Kellen Fisher quickly overcame a muscular knock picked up at The Den, starting against the Tractor Boys in the last outing.
Mo Toure continued to build his fitness with another 45 minutes last time out after returning from the groin injury sustained in February’s win against Sheffield Wednesday.
Manchester United loanee Harry Amass (hamstring) has returned to his parent club to continue his rehabilitation and will not return to Carrow Road this season. A summer move has not been ruled out.
Wide player Matej Jurasek remains several weeks away from returning from a foot injury, while striker Jovon Makama (foot) and winger Papa Amadou Diallo (quad) are expected to miss the majority of the run-in, but have returned to training on the grass.
Mirko Topic and Ante Crnac are ruled out for the season with ACL injuries, Shane Duffy (hamstring) remains a longer-term absentee.
