Frankly 3 yrs ago I thought RM hired this teenager just to prevent Barca getting him ( Deco was pushing to bring him to Nou Camp), and although he was showing some promise he was not a true RM material.
Boy, was I wrong.
This young baller is carving his spot in the squad list with his bare hands, feet, brain. He has developed into a RM level in such a short time this yr, acting, playing and fighting like a true Madridista! Future is bright for this kid, stay hungry Arda, keep making RM better! Keep walking and one day I hope you lift multiple silverware with your teammates, with the captain’s band on your arm even.

Before the free kick i was just thinking about him not scoring any in last 2 years. Good game to score and hopefully more to come.
And thanks to Carlo for not overplaying him when he was not ready, slowly integrating him was the best that could happen to him.

I like that he’s playing more often.
For a while we lacked a short range free kick taker once James, Bale, Ronaldo etc left.
Valverde and Trent are good long range but he’s the only one in the team I trust short range.

Only good thing out of this match is that Arda played close to 90 mins and not so surprisingly excelled too..
