I agree Mbappe should’ve passed here but you’ll have to agree that Vini had a stinker of a game than mbappe. He missed easy shots, didn’t pass earlier when players are not marked, also in many transitions he tries to dribble and that time allows the bayern defense to catch up and mark players. This system where the LW cuts inside every time would never work as it is so predictable atp
He had a horrible game also don’t get fooled by the goal he has scored . There was another play where he refused to pass to vini and just cut back while we had a great chance to attack on counter

This is fully on Mbappe as he is also not the brightest when it comes to reading plays. Mbappe did this last season against Arsenal in the first minute of the game (not exactly the same). But that being said, I don’t trust Vinicius’s finishing anymore. Had that been Rodrygo, I would have been livid at Mbappe for not holding and passing there. Vinicius would have probably waited for Upamecano to come back so he could dribble him again.
