A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Leicester in the early hours of Thursday morning (16 April).
The stabbing happened on Charles Street in the city centre.
Leicestershire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the junction with Yeoman Lane and found a man in his 20s.
He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
A search of the area was undertaken and no arrests have been made.
A police cordon remains at the scene but the road has reopened.
Sergeant Steph Burnham, from the Central Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) said: “It was reported a group of men were seen running off towards Lee Circle, St James Street and Hill Street.
“I’d like to speak to anyone who was in or close to Charles Street in the early hours of this morning. We are keen to speak to anyone with a dashcam in their vehicle and residents or business owners who have a camera on the outside of their property.
“Any information or footage you’re able to provide, no matter how insignificant you think it is, could help.”
