  1. Mad respect for Bernardo, grew up watching him. Best moment has to be City 4-0 Madrid Ucl Semi-final Second Leg when he scored the brace. Hope he'll continue to succeed in life. God bless him

  2. He has been an amazing player for City. Definitely a legend. No surprise that he’s leaving. His influence has declined a bit this season so he’s not as big a loss as he might have been

  3. Bernardo is the kind of player whose importance can only be understood when he isn't there. Imagine missing only like 10 games in 9 seasons playing at the highest level.

  4. Always impressed by his work rate, no matter the size of the opponent he always went for it, never backed down and like you said his shithousary 😎

  5. His goal away at Old Trafford in 2019 on the title run in, his goal against Real Madrid in the champs league semi final first leg in 2022, and his brace against Madrid in the 2023 CL semi final are three moments I’ll never forget as a city fan. Bernardoooooo

  6. My Favourite Moment From Pookie is his Brace against Real Madrid (also the the coffee in hand during the guard of honour i had to put it in there lol )

  7. Genuine legend of the premier league. Fantastic servant. Love you Staminardo. Hopefully he can go off as a league winning captain.

  8. A credit to his family,a credit to his profession.and a credit to Manchester City Football club, thanks for everything Bernardo.we will never forget your contribution to our golden era,

  9. If I had a nickel for every time City bought a player called Silva, who was good but not a superstar, who came and smashed in our midfield, and became one of if not the most influential midfielders in the league, I'd only have two nickels, but it's strange it happened enough times FOR ME TO USE THIS STUPID OVER USED MEME THAT ANNOYS ME EVERY TIME SOMEONE ELSE USESE IT.

But I can put that aside for Bernardo, my guy deserves it.

  10. I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out… Jarrod Bowen is a perfect replacement.

Watch Bowen play, he does for West Ham what Silva does for us, tracking back, breaking the other team's attacks down, setting our attacks into motion, getting goals and assists, and Bowen does the exact same for West Ham, but he scores more goals, and sets up more assists, is better in the tackle, takes corners and pens, and he does all that tracking back from playing at 10 position instead of playing in midfield.

We buy Bowen, move him back a line into midfield, half the amount of running back he has to do because he's already halfway there like Silva is, the system we play lets him get forward just as much as he does now at West Ham, only now his assists would be setting up Haaland and Semenyo, and wouldn't believe you if told me last season, O'Rielly, so imagine how many more of those he would get.

  11. Over the past couple of seasons we’ve lost club legends, KDB last season, Ederson in the summer, Gundo X2, Fernandinho, Kyle Walker, Mahrez, the list is endless!

In my humble opinion Bernardo Silva is one of the hardest ones to accept and to come to terms with, he’s easily in the top bracket of the legends list, without a shadow of doubt.

Bernardo is a ONE of ONE and that little Bernie shaped hole he’ll leave behind is gonna take one hell of a task to fill it.

I have many Bernardo favourite moments which some of them are…..
    • his goal at Villa
    • the brace against Madrid
    • his back heel goal at Newcastle
    • game at Anfield where he was dribbling up the pitch and had 4 Liverpool players around him and he came away with the ball
    • refusing the guard of honour

I could go on and on and on, so thank you Bernardo let’s go get the domestic treble 😊👏👏🩵

  12. Bernardo Silva is undeniably world-class, but with his talent he probably could’ve had even more goals and individual awards. It often feels like he sacrificed part of his personal legacy for the system at Manchester City, prioritizing the team over his own numbers. Technically, he’s one of the best midfielders of his generation, yet his stats don’t fully reflect his true ability. He had the quality to become a serious Ballon d’Or contender, but factors like being played out of position at times, focusing on the team instead of himself, and not really chasing numbers all played a role in that. I still feel like his peak could’ve been even higher in terms of individual recognition, but that’s more a reflection of his selfless style rather than any lack of ability. In many ways, Bernardo could’ve been more “elite elite” if he had been more selfish in front of goal, but those same qualities are also what made him so important to his team’s success.
