Gerard Maldini was so good. He is unironically our most reliable defender who makes the least amount of stupid mistakes. But this also highlights a problem with the team. We NEED to buy a striker and a centerback. People talk so much about Flick’s tactics but our defenders that night were cancelo, gerard martin, eric garcia and kounde. This is nowhere near a good enough defensive set up.
