DISCLAIMER: The only time this season (or maybe ever) I’ll be doing so.

Arsenal’s starting 11 are looking ropey and as if they need a week’s solid rest. Arteta hasn’t rotated anywhere near enough this season, and coming to the business end is when you need your players operating at capacity.

Meanwhile, being out of the Champions League has our squad well rested, with plenty of ammo on the bench if needed.

If Arsenal win tonight, they’ll go on to fight two legs against a fearsome looking Atleti in what will no doubt become a physical haramball showdown.

Saka, Merino, Timber, Odegaard and Calafiori are all out.

Not jinxing it here, but not having another trophy to fight for MIGHT win us the league…

The ideal is for them to play 120 minutes and lose on penalties to completely crush their morale.

I’m with ya. A two leg draw against Athleti is gonna be hell for them. Would love if it goes to extra time as well and get some more minutes into their legs. I do like Sporting tho but I feel like that is because they have been a consistent feeder club on fifa 😂

  3. that was my thought process. it’s a win win imo. if they win, they play more and get fatigued and wiped out for the league run-in. if they lose, their already terrible state of mind gets fucked further and we take advantage.

i hope it goes into extra time and they lose there

make em both tired and discouraged before our head to head

I hope they win today, beat Atletico, score first in the final and then lose the match. Their tears will be the sweetest for me.
