Always crazy thinking back that Arsenal let Harry Kane go as a kid.
Ended up at Spurs, where his whole career really took shape.
You can argue whether he would’ve become the same player anywhere else, but at Spurs he developed into one of the most consistent strikers in Europe.
That “always had something to prove” mindset feels like it was there from day one.
He said, "we'll see who's right or wrong", when Arsenal dropped him …
Do you think Spurs get enough credit for developing him into what he became, or was it always just down to his mentality?
Regardless of his story, Harry Kane is the most complete striker of his generation, alongside Suarez and deserves a champions league and Ballon d'Or to his collection.
Underrated icon.

You answered your own question. Kane is massively underrated so there is no way he gets the recognition he deserves for his achievements, nor will we for our part in supporting his journey.
Unpopular opinion: if it wasn’t for Tim Sherwood who is routinely lampooned, 50/50 chance whether Kane would have got his opportunity in top tier football
I don’t think we get any credit for it from the wider community. We usually get mentioned as hindering his ability to win trophies.
It’s not really that surprising that Kane was released at that age to be honest, he was a little pudgy and not naturally talented, it would be hard to tell the mentality he would develop as he grew through the ranks.
We nearly let him go just before he took off, his ability to step up to the top level took alot of people by surprise.
Kane has always been a uniquely brilliant player who works so hard to improve his game in every possible way.
Not just passing, assisting and scoring but he could draw a foul from anyone.
Absolutely unreal
