      I was very vocal about being heavily against the Garnacho transfer and I ultimately don’t think he’ll be a Chelsea great or even here in another 2 years

      But honestly I think it’s a little embarrassing how many reacted like he was some rat for whatever Tiktok nothing burger nonsense was drummed up this week

      After all the major fuckups the club have made this season, getting this interview out now after the latest batch of (United led) slander posts about him is really good to see. He’s literally not put a foot wrong while with us, but everyone is looking for a story about him.

      Admittedly I do quite like him as a player and I really don’t think he’s going to be the failure everyone claims he will – and I think he’s genuinely been fine all things considered this season – but regardless, I fucking hate seeing players get constantly piled on for absolutely nothing other than to be a punching bag. Like Delap has objectively been shit this season but some of the stuff written about him especially in this sub is just horrendous

      Nothing wrong with Garnacho on a surface level or a footballing level, his problem is strictly reputation and I think that Feds into his head. He also can’t defend very well but neither could Neto, I would let him play every minute of every game for a little stretch so we can see how well he develops

      I still think he’ll come decent. Not starting 11 quality but I ca see him being a good impact sub, better than Delap and Gittens atleast

      Honestly, I don’t understand this fanbase. One neutral comment from a player, and everyone’s like “Oh he’s such a good lad, shouldn’t have doubted him”, like you guys are so easy to manipulate. Absolute bunch of tools without an ounce of critical thinking.
