I genuinely think the pressure might be getting to him! I really he and the team can turn this chaos into results on the pitch 😅

  2. His facial expressions and manner of speaking here are exactly like Pep when he’s feeling the pressure. But Pep usually comes up top in the end. Let’s see if Arteta can.

It’s also funny how similar he is to Pep here ngl.

this is going to be one of those things isn’t it, where we lose the league and the cl and people will be like ‘he’s not on fire, he’s fired’ or something like that.

  4. Soooo any bets on him jumping off the emirates burning after he tries to burn odegaard? /s

  5. I’ve never heard him say the word ‘fire’ so it almost sounds fake it’s so funny

  6. White to Saliba. Saliba to Gabriel. Gabriel to Raya. Raya to Zubimendi aaaaand back to Raya. Raya to Hincapie. Hincapie to Martinelli aaaaaand back to Raya.

Throw in. 30secs to play. Backward.

Hopefully the fire he talks about is different to above scenario that we’ve witnessed 100 times this season. I’ve learned to be careful : words in press conference are words. The main talk is on the pitch.

  7. I’d say these media obligations are an absolute nightmare for managers especially when so many are just looking for sound bites.

  8. We started with fire in the belly last season and now the whole body is on fire 🔥🔥🔥

Starting to seriously think he should be **fire**d if we end up potless ngl

Not that he will be because he’s stuffing those CL £££s in Kroenke’s pockets.

  10. Good, this is proper reaction, but I also want them to change the attitude on the field. They are not losing anything, they are not bottling anything cause they still havent won anything. On the other hand they have everything to play for, to win, this is their chance in over 20 years to get premier league, to win for the first time champions league. They have to go on the field and say “f*ck it, it’ s out moment, now or never”. Fight for it with every fabric of their being, go all out, cause we’re not defending anything, we’re figthing for it. Couple of years they’ve been training hard, gathering experience and preparing for over last 5 years. Go and give them hell, fight like its for your life, give 110% !! COME ON YOU GUNNERS !!

  11. “We look at the teams around us and we’re all in a pack that is very tight, where the fight for every position will be massive like it has always been in the Premier League, maybe even more this season than ever before.

“The way we respond to our disappointing result last Saturday is vital. If it is over for us, it’s over for everybody else. We are all together in a pack there, so first we have to focus on staying at the top, then if we can reduce the distance between us and Chelsea after, you never know.

“They have an advantage where they aren’t playing in Europe. They have no midweek games, so of course they are in a very strong position.”

That comment “I know how the club was” sounds like an excuse to me. He got that in very subtly did no one else clock it?

  13. “You want people to wake up in the morning and think ‘I’m going to watch Arsenal today – I will enjoy it.’ The priority is to get people happy and you can do that by winning – and trying to do that with style. Winning ugly is not a long-term philosophy. You have to give something more to develop the game.”

I reckon if we don’t come away with anything this season he might leave. I truly believe he’s been giving absolutely everything, I’m not sure it can be sustained if we don’t get anything over the line.

This club is so lucky to have this man as the manager. There’s a legitimate argument to say he’s the club’s greatest ever manager based on how he saved the club from the trenches.

Wenger was great but could never have done what Arteta has done. The club were a laughing stock before Arteta joined. Now the club are a force to the reckoned with
