Would have been soft but we’ve seen pens given for the light knock to the underside of the boot

  2. The point of VAR is to overturn clear and obvious errors.

It’s soft but there is clearly contact and the ref gave the pen. Even mark clattenburg said he was shocked it was overturned.

One day they’ll use var for what it’s actually meant for

100% a pen. I hate that they replay it in slow motion. Pacho went for the ball aggressively and macallister got in between him and the ball first. That’s an easy pen to call

Alister needs to stop diving ao much, it is getting embarasing and this is var there is not a point in doing it anyway

  5. liquidreferee on

5 second after this decision was reversed he called the exact thing a foul on the pitch.

  6. EffectiveChard6844 on

Corrupt as fuck. And his massive sigh after like how the hell have I got away with that.

  7. Not a pen for me either. We were outplayed both the legs. Stop blaming everything on the refs.

  8. That was not a pen. Glad it was reversed. Match was called pretty fairly. Ref missed calls for PSG too. Stop crying.

When you have the chairman of PSG on the board of uefa im not surprised. I’m sure the referee doesn’t want to wake up to his family murdered.

Look we deserved to lose but that penalty decision was a fucking disgrace. Changes the game.

  11. ash_ninetyone on

I can see how it’s not a penalty tbf. Absolutely nothing in the box there. None of our players. None of PSG’s players. They don’t even have a ball.

    Clearest decision yet from VAR

  12. SmokingOctopus on

We got away with two last week. We can’t be too annoyed by that although I think the ref got that one wrong

  13. itsthe_walrus on

It’s just a coincidence though. There’s no way the refs could be paid off. FIFA and UEFA are not corrupt organizations

  14. Environmental-Half81 on

Corruption… but also even if we got that, I am not sure we would have won it. We were outperformed

  15. It still wasn’t a pen. Macca would have been better off going for the ball and create something. But dude looks like my grandmother this season he plays but you actually never see him engaged in anything

  16. SnooDoodles4099 on

Cant forget the headbut mac allister received after heading the ball wide, how was that not a foul or penalty such a joke. But fuck it lets blame slot. Shit referring all season and its just shit.

  17. djSexPanther on

Complaining about penalty decisions after those two in the first leg (esp the 2nd one) is certainly something

  18. raziel_beoulve on

I like Enrique a lot, but now I want PSG to lose, they dont need corruption to win it, they are a great team!

  19. Tall_Opportunity_521 on

United fan here, and just so you know you all arent crazy. Yes, thats oil money on the phone to him in this picture. Aint no fucking way that should have been over turned. None.

  20. That is given as a pen in the CL all the time. Soft yes but totally given week in week out.

  21. Extreme_Note1158 on

No way you Liverpool fans are crying about this LOOL, Mac Allister literally stepped on Pacho’s feet. If you call this a penalty and not the Konate push last game, you are delusional

  22. Aggravating_Type_151 on

Did you say the same thing about the foul on Nuno Mendes in the first leg?

  23. HereToPatter on

VAR check: “on second look, the foul was committed on Macca. Therefore, no pen.”

  24. It wasn’t a pen. If that had gone the other way we would’ve been ballistic and rightfully so.
