Mainoo is not in the squad tonight.
Kobbie Mainoo is absent from Manchester United’s squad to face Leeds due to a small injury picked up in a training session. Mainoo had started every Premier League game under Michael Carrick, but he has not been named in the squad to face Leeds on Monday night.
United believed it was not worth risking Mainoo by including him in the squad after he picked up a small issue in training. Manuel Ugarte has come into the side to take his place in the XI.
Carrick has made four changes after drawing 2-2 with Bournemouth before the international break. Along with the Mainoo change, Noussair Mazraoui, Lisandro Martinez and Benjamin Sesko have come into the team for Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire (who is suspended) and Bryan Mbeumo.

Martinez last played against West Ham on February 10. He suffered a training injury in the build-up to the victory against Everton, which forced him to miss five Premier League games, but he returned to full training last week.

Mbeumo pulled out of international duty with Cameroon as a precaution. The 26-year-old took part in full training in the Republic of Ireland last week, but Carrick has named him on the bench for the first time.
United can put three points between themselves and Aston Villa in fourth position if they beat Leeds. The West Yorkshire club head into the game at Old Trafford unbeaten in their last four matches.
