Dermot Gallagher completely and disgracefully gaslighting as usual. Kinsky was clearly right there and Brobbey knew exactly what he was doing.

Clearly Brobbey isn’t blind so Dermot Gallagher can fuck off with his shit take. Why is this moron considered an expert anyways?

There could be a bean bag under him and he’d still be out for 8-200 months

  3. I just read this and came to the sub to see if anyone had posted about it.

I’ve done a pretty good job of not letting this season affect me emotionally, but these comments have completely done my head in. They’re tying themselves in knots to avoid admitting that Spurs are getting screwed.

    >If the goalkeeper’s not there, a little nudge, are you going to send him off for a second yellow card?

You could say this about every fucking red card challenge in history. If one of the involved players is removed from the situation of course it would fundamentally change the situation. It’s mindboggling logic.

    >Romero is not in control of the ball and is trying to block Brobbey from getting it. At some point, Brobbey can’t see the ball anymore because he’s so close to Romero.

    >It’s almost like he’s pushed him to one side to see it. That’s the kind of incident that comes because defenders are trying to shield the ball.

Defenders shield the ball to their keeper or to let it roll out of play all the time. It’s a totally legal and valid tactic. Even if you argue that Romero could not have played the ball (wrong) then it would be obstruction. Committing obstruction does not somehow entitle the opposing player to commit a dangerous foul on you.

    It’s just fucking absurd.

I don’t know why but my mind instantly thought someone was being pushed off the skywalk with that picture.

The most annoying thing is that this exact thing will happen next week against Brighton, with the roles reversed and it’ll go against Tottenham again. I guarantee it.
