Only one player didn't meet the threshold of 10% 1's, that was Viktor Gyokeres. So I left all the responses with all 1's in this result.

I think Havertz was worse than Zubi, but probably fair ratings

Giving Arteta anything more than a 1/10 for anything is insane. He’s the reason we are here losing everything again. Sack him now.
rice too high rated, cowardly performance, completely stopped showing for the ball from the centre halfs

Starting Havertz and Gyok is insane. I think it’s the last few games of his reign, the home straight collapses are ridiculous now.
Build around Raya, Saliba, Timber, Gabriel, Rice, Saka and Gyokeres, Dowman and Ethan. The rest either improve or leave at this point.

People complaining about gyokeres getting a 5 (not a fan boy, my name is just a play on his transfer news earlier in the season) but, he actually tried so hard. The runs he was trying to make when Zubi would just stand there like a lost child. Zubi should have 1 at most, he was appalling
Surprised sub choices is so high. Did absolutely nothing to change the game, and it’s always the same subs doing exactly the same thing.
Zubimendi with the lowest score means that the so-called fans don’t know a single thing about football. Sigh.

He faded a touch, but I thought MLS was our MOTM by a country mile. For me, the only player deserving of a decent score (and quite a good one at that).
I really don’t think Gyokeres deserves to get singled out but it is crazy how scoring a goal will skew your rating regardless of your performance. It was a penalty! Madness
MLS, Rice, Saliba and Raya were largely fine. I know we are all fuming but I don’t think it’s fair for any of them to have less than a 6. MLS maybe could be blamed a bit for the first goal, but he largely won his duels and played forward. Saliba and Raya were trying in buildup and bar a couple errant Raya passes did not make mistakes. Maybe people blame Saliba for the 2nd goal a bit?
Rice tried. He is one of the only players who is week in week out trying and making an impact one way or another. I don’t think the accusations that he is hiding in buildup are fair at all. I guess he’s a 5/10 so whatever.
Everyone else it’s fair to call bad but are we really having a go at Dowman coz we are upset? Was Eze really a 4? I thought he had some bright moments considering he’s coming back off an injury.
I will also point out some favouritism that has not been addressed – Gabriel has not been at his level, and has been really poor in buildup. If we are going to point fingers, watch Gabriel in buildup. It’s been a real limiting factor lately. I love him but I have no idea how he is rated above Saliba on here.
Mikel yeah. Very poor. I think the starting lineup honestly he was a little handcuffed by availability – no Saka, Merino, Ode, Eze not fit enough to start, no Timber, No Cala. Technically very limited in our options. But it still wasn’t right, the subs weren’t good, and at some point fitness issues are at least in part on him.
How did Gyokeres get a 5? If he took his chances we would have won 4-1.
Gyokeres might be the most shielded player in this Arsenal squad. A penalty gives him the best rating although he lost the ball 12 times, completed 6 passes and had only one shot on target(penalty). People would say pass him the ball but don’t even see how much he gets dispossessed.

Noni has that effect but was not there unfortunately.. Gabi shouldn’t have started in the first place .. both of them keep the ball to long and then lose it and not defend afterwards
Kai can not work with Gyo in a game like that where the whole opposition is in the back closing all gaps, he best case was to have Eze start with him instead of Zubi
We are nor against city so we need more than one defense midfielder, we can keep moving the ball around the back and expect we get goals especially our set pieces are not giving us goals anymore, attacking tactics need to be upgraded in a big way, in a dominant way, opponant need to feel the attacking pressure
Our play style gives the message that we are trying to find a gap and we find it they we give them the time to close it for the rest of the match
We need to play faster, try things from the beginning so we become un predictable .. because man every game I have been watching is like a replay of the previous one now ..
Our defense should not be involved in creating chances at all, it should be our midfield and wingers, but when I see big Gabi and Saliba runs wide and go into the last quarter of the opposition pitch, then that is just desperation
Our midfield need to make passes horizontally more than vertical, the receivers should have a strong backbone to keep the ball with them or be fast to create a play with other moving players
If we don’t have anything under our sleeves then I am going to say bye to this season from now because if we had and we are not using it it is either stupid or I will start thinking like a conspiracy guy and say we just getting scammed because the fans can’t keep buying tickets and merch in the highest of prices while the club doesn’t give back something.. I excused it in Wnger era but not anymore.. I would give Atreta one more season even if we don’t win this one, but he need an attacking coach that is very good because he is not

I will admit now I do not really know what I am talking about. I feel like I have no understanding as to why we are dropping off at the worst time (again!) but it feels like it stems from our offensive potency has just been dropping over the last few seasons. It is why I think Arteta has gone more ‘rustic’ in his playstyle and our defence has become more dominant. As great as our players are on their day it feels the likes of Saka, Odegaard, Trossard ,Martinelli etc have just not kept the consistency. Of course they have plenty of great games and injuries have not helped, but overall it feels like they go missing more often than not as the seasons have piled up. Again, there is plenty of justifiable reasons for this but I just think my biggest issue this season has not been identifying this early enough. It is why Dowman feels like a breath of fresh air, and the addition of Madueke (even Gyokeres feels like he puts the effort in) helps move the ball quicker. Teams have figured that out now, hold off and make Arsenal work for the goals and we are really lacking any ideas on that front. I remember before Christmas teams really tried to press us more but technically our players can really exploit that and score goals and make the opposition pay. Atletico Madrid game was probably the best game I remember of ours, and Villa at home.

Everyone is pointing fingers everywhere when we’ve been seeing the same problem almost all season. We’re fielding 2 defensive midfielders with little creative ability to operate high up and only recently a CF in a bizzarro system where I still can’t tell if we’re trying to play attacking football but cant or if we’re trying to play some sort of defensive counterattacking variation…
So when you ask your self why we
1. Cant progress the ball up the pitch
2. Aren’t countering
3. Can’t find our forwards
4. Why our forwards are so isolated at times
Remember our midfield of two DMs and a striker have no fucking clue what they’re doing. The system is a complete mess and has been since Arteta decided that banging in goals for fun in 23/24 was too easy and opting for a more rigid system is better.
We have fast strong defenders who are excellent with one on ones. We were getting Declan for the 6. We had Odegaard playing like David Silva. Why the fuck did we change that?
Harsh on Gyok. Deserves at least a point higher maybe more. Impossible job for him and he still did well.
Havertz deserve a 1 for kicking the ball on the grass to his arm one way or the other, undercooking a through pass and misplacing a 3v3 pass to Martinelli
Heck Nelli deserves no rating! 7 touches as a winger in 45mins is pathetic to say the least
Arteta should watch the Swedish WC qualifiers. Feed the Gyok! Get something different happening and if not goals he will bring us corners lol.
