I saw some people asking for videos about this. This was after the 4th goal and a large section of the Rangers fans on the wrong side of the barrier pushed through the stewards just after this.

I wasn’t in the north stand but a lot of people there didn’t feel safe.

Not sure what will happen for the last game of the season but something needs to be done.

  1. If theyve gone across to the side they shouldn’t be on then Falkirk should have a blanket ban on away fans the next game Rangers play there.

Think you need to explain bit more – wrong side of barrier? That the standing on the white bit? Where is footage of rest thats being said? Is north stand supposed to be only Falkirk fans? Posting in a non Falkirk fc sub so gonna have to expand on a fair bit.

The club is already responding and there’s a serious debate whether we ban all Rangers fans from the next game. I’m looking forward to the roars of complaint if we do that but your own fault if you’re going to break the rules and have people in the wrong side of the ground. Personally, I hope this happens and it’s a game where you can possibly win the league but have no support at it.

  4. Take it we won a game then aye?

This kind of stuff happens all the time with folk getting into the home end of games – I’ve done it myself watching us play vs Partick before a few years back now granted.

It’s ultimately a Falkirk issue if they don’t have restrictions on who’s buying home end tickets clearly.

What is the criteria for buying in the home end? Can anyone buy or do you have to have a buying history with Falkirk? Is this Falkirk fans selling their tickets to rangers fans? I know for the next Hearts – Rangers game you have to have ten loyalty points with Hearts to buy a ticket for the home end.

It’s Rangers fans. They’re allowed run the length of the pitch to launch flares at kids and try fight players and coaching staff, bottle coaching staff leaving them needing stitches, throw shards of glass into an opposition goalkeepers area, sing about killing Catholics and hold up Nazi flags. They literally get away with everything and anything.

  7. From what I’ve heard there just weren’t any checks. Folk could walk in to the club shop and buy tickets in that stand without any checks and as many as they wanted.

So the options are to either

    1. Tighten security/ticket sales for the last game of the season and actually chuck folk out if needed.

    Or

    2. Give Rangers the entire stand and charge them £50 a ticket for it to rake in the cash. Means displacing a few season tickets but there’s easy bribes for that for next season renewals.

I get there will be a lot of folk wanting to just say this is normal or covering this up but we can’t have fan safety ignored as if it’s entirely acceptable. Folk have said they were getting abused/huckled out their seats so Rangers fans in disguise could be near their side of the stand. That’s not on.

The police/stewards watched it happen as well so for all their boo hooing about policing dangerous football fans they can’t have it the other way too.
