We have so many of these decisions that make our league look atrociously amateur. VAR but no line across the goal? I agree with giving the goal since you can’t 100% tell but fuck me that angle is like someone just filming it from the crowd with their phone

Yeah, there’s definitely no way you can tell either way from the TV angles so no choice but to go with the infield decision.

Isn’t this the same sort of goal Celtic had disallowed at Easter Road last season?

The Falkirk Gk at no point claims the ball is out and he had the best view. Ball deffo not out, Falkirk school boy stuff by not playing until the whistle.

Aaron’s should have been sent off. That’s just blatant cheating.

The linesman has a great view and is happy the ball stayed in. Without conclusive evidence the goal can’t be chopped off.
Pretty simple.

The refs should be going on strike in protest of var or are they happy letting machines dictate their decisions? Ive always been against var. Football is for humans . If you want machines to script and dictate your game go play fifa ( or fc as they call it now) . If we are going to be bitter about it if that goal was chopped then 5-3 is still some result.

The Raskin incident at ER last season was their chance to ensure some sort of goal line tech was introduced and as per they done nothing.
Absolutely no one knows if it went out and they had to go with the on field call.
Read somewhere McGlynn said he didn’t think it was out?
