He isn’t wrong but this is such a passive aggressive comment which really makes it sound like he’s lost the dressing room

This seems slightly unnecessarily aggressive from Eddie, not something he’s usually like.

The plan to start Osula seemed to work for a while. The problem was not changing things up when it stopped working

Mental statement. You bought them, man. And Nick was banging them in when played up front.

Eddie Howe’s stubbornness is becoming his undoing. We’ve seen this script before: last season, he flatly refused to play Tonali as the 6 and Bruno as the 8 until his hand was forced. The moment he relented, everything clicked and we went on a run.
This season, his excuse has been a lack of time on the training pitch. Starting Osula over Woltermade—despite the latter being an international-level talent—feels like a petty point-scoring exercise. It’s as if he’s trying to prove that only ‘his’ time on the grass matters.
Starting Murphy fits that same rigid logic. Howe is proving to be the least adaptable manager in the league, and that lack of flexibility is going to get him sacked. I appreciate what he’s done, but we’ve moved past ‘get him out before it turns toxic’—we’re already there

Getting really fucking tired of Howe

I mean, I agree with him. But in what universe is it then fine to make zero substitutions until the 72′ minute. And then the 85′ minute. AND THEN IN STOPPAGE TIME. It’s a choice to stay stagnant when things aren’t working.

He’s really boxed himself in with this. Just say “i always pick the team that i think will win the game” or any other generic answer

Yeah I mean I get that you don’t pick based on transfer fees. But I don’t buy this; if Osula was seen to be so good why wasn’t he playing up top at the start of the season when we had no striker bar Osula and Gordon was playing out of position.
I think this is just Howes stubbornness coming through and will cost him this job (if the results so far this season haven’t already done that).

ZERO games in the premier league where Wissa and Nick have started together…ZERO….in a horrific, torturous season…Not ONCE have the duo (who both perhaps might massively benefit from playing with a partner) been given any chance whatsoever to try to form a partnership in the league…Howe has played zero striker tactic like Gordon up front, he’s played Nick isolated…he’s played Wissa isolated…but starting together? NOPE…the only game they did was in the cup vs Bournemouth… WITHOUT the usual first team…and even then in their first ever game together and without the usual starters the toon played some good football in attack….for me Eddies refusal to start them together and do absolutely anything apart from that, no matter how utterly ineffective the tactics have been again and again and again, has potentially wrecked the season for me…even if thats not the case and they wouldnt have worked together..how would we ever know….maybe the only time we ever see them together is in the second half, perhaps when the toon are already losing cos of the usual inneffective tactics…considering next season is perhaps my last ever season that i will be watching football, hopefully its not like this one.

Is Wissa the worst signing since the takeover? Hes shit in games, but how bad is he in training to not get a look in

Good luck to us signing anyone this summer. People will look at Woltemade this season and avoid us like the plague
