Brentford boss Keith Andrews admitted disappointment after their 2-2 draw at home to Everton on Saturday.

Andrews felt it was two points dropped on the day after Igor Thiago struck both the Bees’ goals.

“We’re disappointed we haven’t won the game,” he said.

“The lads were outstanding for large parts. We weren’t entirely ourselves for parts of the first half.

“(Mikkel) Damsgaard wasn’t well coming into the game; we picked him, he was brave enough to give it a go, but he wasn’t feeling well. Reiss (Nelson) isn’t at a level where he can start and finish a game, so we had to balance that out.

“That probably had an effect on our performance, but I thought we were outstanding in the second half, in the way we approached the game. We looked really, really good.

“I can’t say I felt like we were under a lot of pressure after we made it 2-1, but I’m just disappointed we couldn’t see out the rest of the game.”
