Progress has already been made with Bastoni, and in Italy, they are beginning to consider the Inter Milan player lost, as reported this weekend by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.

According to Italian media, it is only a matter of time before an agreement is reached between all parties, given that the positions of the Catalan club and the player's agents are very close.

Balstoni is a player Flick greatly admires and has reportedly agreed with his club to postpone any negotiations or news about his future until Inter wins the Scudetto. Six matchdays remain after this weekend's game, and Cristian Chivu's side leads the table with a comfortable advantage over Napoli.

An agreement between the clubs is not expected to be easy, as the Italian club values the center-back at around 70 million euros, while Barça is unwilling to reach that figure. Key to this decision is the player's desire and what he is willing to negotiate.

In Italy, they believe the signing will happen and even consider it a given that it will be possible thanks to Barcelona reaching the coveted 1-1 rule of La Liga's Financial Fair Play regulations this coming summer.

  1. If either one of these happens: bastoni, buying rashford, keeping lewandowski for more than a sub with a minuscule salary or selling roony – then we’re making huge mistakes and some of them will be the same as other times in our recent past.

For people that have watched him a lot, how do you feel he would fit here? Especially with the whole “he can’t play in a back 4” sentiment.

I can’t speak much, because I’ve only seen him play in like 4 matches(all against us) and he was pretty solid.

  3. Def need defensive reinforcements, but we’ve been here before where everyone knows we have money and usually overpay.

Honestly need a great striker more. Ferran is not the future.

We really need maturity in highline but i rlly hope maldini doesnt get traded or anythibg

  5. I mean Inter are going for Tarik Muharemovic which in my opinion is much better option than Bastoni. I feel like Bastoni is clunky and Muharemovic is a beast, WARRIOR mentality and good both ofensive and defensive.
