  1. Only one person can be blamed why the squad isn’t fit. Just look at the minutes the first team were playing in the first half of the season. Mismanaging the squad year in, year out.

  2. Chamie-Turboman on

Oh fuck off. Don’t try and convince anyone that squad today wasn’t capable of beating fucking Bournemouth at home. We’ve just fucked it again like we have done every time we’ve come close to winning a title under this regime. We’ve all seen this before

Master of squad rotation: Mikel Arteta

How many minutes has norgaard played for us? An experienced premier League level midfielder

  4. Aakashneel92 on

Fatigue is just applicable to us it seems. Other teams have thinner squads and playing better football than us. Withdrew everyone during the international break as well.

  5. We play the same damn team 95 mins every single week at the start of the season and then complain in April when their knees are just shards of bones. No amount of squad size increase will help with poor player management.

  6. Playing mls in the biggest game of the year while he had the chance to guide him into the team for 9 months at CM. Malpractice

  7. MasterScheme2434 on

The excuses piss me off. You’ve had this problem all season and succeeded but now because you fail to adapt and coach a different tactic it’s a problem? Pep exposed you and now everyone has the answer to us. It’s over

  8. What you need to do is to integrate your available players on the bench. You just rely on specific players for tactics and when they are out injured or out of form, the entire team suddenly doesn’t know how to play good football.

  9. Even with Saka, Ødegaard, Calafiori, and Timber, it wouldn’t have changed much, our players and movement just aren’t at the level right now. We are running on empty.

  10. Arteta is losing the fan base quick and rightfully so.

If he played exciting and creative football I could live with losses. This is just stubborn boring football.

Win the league or leave the job. This man runs players into the ground and then blames injuries… lol

  11. This ain’t it, Mikel. You have a big points lead and a team full of international stars. Shouldn’t be that hard to take down Bournemouth at home when going for a title.

This guy is a loser with no answers. He’s been saying the same nonsense for over a month now after every bad result. The team is a reflection of its manager.

  13. Upset-Parsley-8101 on

We have no off the ball movement….that comes from a want to be so defensively solid that you’re petrified to attack with any level of aggression.

That is coached…you can see…the players want to set everytime even when they win the ball from the opponent in dangerous zones. They look to set so they can probe from outwide.

This fool has failed, it was fine when we were scamming results but when we regress to mean due to natural end of season fatigue, our system is not robust enough to cope.

This should be his last season here, thanks for building a core that perhaps a more clever and braver tactician can come and exploit.

What’s actually incendiary to the mind is that he’s been backed financials, really backed

Beginning of the end, Arteta. 4th season in a row he’s made the same mistakes, except this season he amassed the squad he needed, only to run the same group of players into the ground and freeze out the rest of the squad. Now he’s crying about not having players available lol.

Can’t stand this pathetic, overpaid pussy of a coach

  15. If we are the only team who have our key players break down during the crucial run-in every year, then it’s on arteta.

During the start of his career, saka and odegaard bailed him out. Instead of protecting them and extending their careers, he just wore them out.

Now they are feeling the mileage and become injury prone.
So we have both our key players injured along with our reoccurring injuries for the rest of the team.

  16. Has absolutely nothing to do with the conservative tactics. It doesn’t matter who is in there, we have looked bad with many combinations of people

  17. Lmaoooo and there it is. The classic excuse. I wonder why this happens every season? If only we could figure out what or WHO is to blame for this? Hmm… Stupid bastard.

  18. Why can’t he give updates on those injuries, why is he so damn secretive like we have no right to know?

  19. reciprocal_space on

That little depression I felt when we lost Merino is hitting much bigger now.

  20. Nah, you cannot win shit even with full team. You choose the players and decide how to rotate. No excuses and walk your way out

  21. What we need is to make the decision that we’re going to try and slaughter Sporting and then go to the Etihad and go toe to toe with City, regardless of what happens tomorrow and regardless of who’s fit. I want to us to go into both games as if we’re already 2-0 down. It’ll likely end in defeat, but playing for a draw against City, and carrying on with this conservative approach of relying on no mistakes and nicking a goal here and there is guaranteed to end up in failure.

  22. How did we go from that 16-1-1 team to this? Even though we didn’t win the title, that post Dubai Arsenal team blitzed the league and was beautiful.

  23. Playing a cringe video at training is not serious, it’s not ruthless, it’s not fun, it’s not inspiring, it’s just silly.

  24. shocknawe123 on

We have 2 quality squads yet we are always in a crisis? How is that even possible

  25. lobsterdog666 on

These guys are always hurt, it’s up to the manager to devise ways to win with the guys he has. Mikel is incapable of this.

  26. ImpossibleYam232 on

Had 100 chances to rotate the squad and not rush people back but nope!
    Can fuck the right off

  27. ImpossibleYam232 on

Fuck off Arteta! We need to get at them. Fuck this shit. They need to know this is not fucking good enough! They are one of the highest paid staff/players in the fucking league!

  28. As a manager of a big club. You’re expected to adjust and make the best with what you have. I don’t believe our players suck. It’s the tactics and the system

  29. Fuck off. It’s your own fault.

Arteta refuses to rotate when he can and plays his players into the ground, then cries when they aren’t fit

Maybe it wasn’t such a great idea to push Saka thru all this full 90s the last few years. Just like everyone said it wasn’t good. But legohead and his ego insisted he was right

  30. Even with players injured it’s still the best and deepest squad ever assembled in our history. He’s the problem not the players.

  31. ThePresident26 on

Maybe play Norgaard instead of Zubi who has been on the decline for months now

  32. Hereformemes619 on

Also annoyed he never rotates the squad so the core players are just knackered by the end of the season

  33. I can’t say I was Arteta out even a month ago, but now I can’t fucking stand him.

What kind of bullshit fucking excuse is this?
