Not resting Yamal and Pedri will cost us a lot, chances are well have to play 120m if things go our way, we saw what happened when we tried to comeback in cdr, players were spent by 90th minute and we are making the same mistake again…

People are overreacting with why Yamal and Pedri were not rested. Players in the past have played back to back games over weekend and mid-week and have pulled off the results This is not the first time any of these players are playing games in span of 3-4 days. I actually see it as a good way to get ready for the Atletico game as I believe actual game time is the best training the players can have.
He took a big gamble today. Played Pedri, Yamal and Eric for the full 90. They are going to have to play the full 90 on Tuesday at full intensity. We are lucky to have avoided injuries. I just wish he just uses the folks he has when necessary. The league is practically won now though.
One thing is for sure. If we somehow manage to win the tie on Tuesday, it will be such a mentality shift for the club. We are so used to bottling in Europe. A comeback against Atleti will fuel this young team to the next level and championship material
I think Yamal and Pedri ran way less than they usually do Yamal especialy so it is not that big problem
