  1. You know things are out of hand this season when the 4th placed team are greetin about referee conspiracies. Up the road.

  2. Dreadful performance.

    Massive 3 points.

Top of the league going in to the split.

Delighted with that!!! But we’re playing a very dangerous game at the moment….

  3. At 1-1 that Maswanhise miss changed the game kind of luck you need to win a title, unfortunately

  4. Kabore and Kerjota beast mode there

Motherwell were pretty disgraceful with the play acting for 50 minutes, no wonder the referees jumped at banning Slattery for so long

But also fucking come on Motherwell v the Old Firm, I believe in you

  5. Is that the first time Hearts have won after conceding the opening goal since August?!?!

Decent performance actually with the only real issue today being our finishing. Should have killed that before there was even a chance to get fucked over with that decision.

Oh fuck, thought they were dropping points today – and we’ve got Falkirk away tomorrow. Brilliant!

  8. With Celtic not scoring loads, and with the title being as close as it is, getting that third goal is big.

There’s only been one weekend all three teams have won. Big, big pressure on Rangers tomorrow.

Writing was on the wall after we missed a few chances, one of them being golden with Maswanishe. Good luck Jambos, except for the game against us at Fir Park.

However, that penalty decision is utterly shambolic. I said for a laugh ‘bet this goes to VAR and Welsh gets sent off’…. wild that I was even 50% right.

Quite incredible that Hearts actually won that. It almost reminded me of Scotland- Greece. The Motherwell players embarrassed themselved feigning injury, though.

Halkett has shown recently exactly why Clarke won’t pick him for Scotland.

Impressed with the tactical adjustments from JBA this game, Maswanhise putting in brilliant crosses from the right. I was worried JBA would be out of ideas and we’d just have Maswanhise in the middle again. That sequence of missed opportunities in the second half was painful to watch but that comes down to the players.

Welsh giving up the penalty was bad but he otherwise had a great game defensively.

Disappointing loss but despite the final score, the actual performance looked better than the last three games (which looked stagnant and predictable). European qualification hopes still alive for now, especially with the Hibs loss today.

  12. Still really weird seeing Motherwell fans screaming SFA corruption for a penalty. It was a strange call, but can we leave the conspiracy theories to the Celtic and Rangers Da’s?Odd hearing it from you guys, you’re normally more sensible eh.

No idea how we won that. We were second best for large chunks of the game. Motherwell missed some fantastic chances.

  14. For everyone wondering how Maswanhise missed that chance to keep the title challenge alive, I had Maswanhise anytime goalscorer in that match. You’re welcome.

  15. Really good game absolutely spoiled by the refereeing once again. It’s gonnae sound like sour grapes cos we lost but they couldn’t even award throw-ins properly at the start of the match lol.

We had more than enough chances to go 2+ up and fluffed our lines every time. JT missing that chance after doing the hard part creating it was criminal. No idea why they were checking offside for Hearts 1st because it was clear McEntee neither touched the baw or was in Ward’s vision. Penalty… nae idea but no one appealed for it.

  16. Motherwell rode their luck plenty with the sweeper keeper shenanigans. Still thought we were the better team despite their chances.

Kerjota in for Kyzi from now on though, actually brought something to the team when he came on.

  17. Worth pointing out that Motherwell can no longer catch Hearts either – 3rd place at worst secured now.

Thankfully Hearts will never have to play a bottom 6 team for the rest of the season

  19. Kerjota was really good when he came on today. Really good – neat, won a couple of corners he had no right to win, put in the corner for the penalty. I’d even maybe start him ahead of Kyzi next game. Actually that might be too far but great to see him emerging into a proper bench option

  20. Haven’t seen any highlights, hearing different opinions on the penalty. What’s the verdict here?
