Jamie Gamblin, of Cedar Close, has been charged with a number of drug offences after the shop, on Friday morning.

Police said the car, which was seen driving suspiciously, was stopped at around 11.40am on Weston Parade.

Police said that a knife was found inside the vehicle, and that after a search, the driver was found to be in possession of suspected Class A drugs.

Officers then searched the man’s home, which led to the discovery of suspected Class A drugs, cash and other items.

Gamblin has since been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of a knife in public.

He was also charged with acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

Gamblin is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today.
