Thought he was too big for the club, and did not appreciate how good he had it. Chelsea experience has humbled him.

So glad he’s gone. One of three egotistical average wingers I’ll be glad to forget ever played for us in the last 12 months

Hard not to root against someone who took his position and privilege for granted.

It was hilarious when he said that Chelsea could win at the Emirates just like we did. He belongs in Chelsea.

  5. Guys he was 20 years old and is being honest and reflective about his mistakes – and showing gratitude to United. Cut him some slack!

  6. He’ll end up treading water in mid-table la Liga once Chelsea bin him off, eventually fading into obscurity. Fucking deserves it.

  7. I don’t get all this hate against him. People forget that he’s literally a kid. We still have many fans here with Ronaldo flairs, the guy who tried to sabotage the club because he got benched (reasonably), and who is actually a terrible person outside the pitch.

I don’t understand fans who are so bitter towards ex players, he was immature and should learn from his experience, some of you act like he did something to you personally

Hopefully this will be a great example for the youth coming through to help keep them grounded and maximise their opportunities with the first team

Imagine if he would’ve treated his development with the attitude that Amad approached his with

He played in 36 out of 38 PL games in his last two season at United. Only player 20 out of Chelsea’s 31 so far. He realises he done fucked up

He let himself down a few times at the club, a very young talent that has absolute stopped developing in terms of on field qualities. He can still become a very good player, but he will need to mature a lot more and double down on his humility and work ethic. A long contract at Chelsea could work out for him, or he might get stuck in a loan loop.

Enjoyed watching him come through the youth team and breaking in, but I’m glad he left. The club must take some responsibility for his lack of development here though, same with Rasmus. Too many young guns or struggling talents (Antony, Zirk) thrown together and not enough senior performers to take the pressure and guide the way. Rashford being on a downswing further compounding this.

Clearly regrets messing up his United career! He’s a squad player at Chelsea now and he was fan favourite at United. Even though he was frustrating at times it was clear to see he had a lot quality and because he was an academy player, the fans were behind him. It’s a shame, his ego got the better of him.

Best outgoing transfer for United in recent memory. Delighted he’s not in our squad anymore, and the price was pretty good.

Good thing you did otherwise a lot of the fanbase never wouldve let the club bin you off

Even if he didn’t have a huge ego and was professional, he ain’t good enough to play for a top 6 premier league side , very average player , hasn’t improved in years so we would have to get rid of him regardless. Considering players like yamal , Bellingham etc who are in his age group he is very average

  17. The guy acted like he was Ronaldo but lacked the mental attitude or dedication to improve and be the best footballer he could be.
His ego was blown out of proportion by those around him
He disrespected managers, fans and the badge.

He can feel sorry sure, but…
Hes let the same thing happen at Chelsea..
And no doubt at the next club.
Only he can stop the cycle through hard work but he doesnt believe in that it seems.

He had a great future ahead of him and he blew it.

I will never forget the Villa Jersey post
And Rashford, Garna and Sancho “Freedumb Fighters”

Glad hes gone but it is a shame man. He was meant to be our future. He got to big for his own boots, he legit thought he was on course to be the next Ronaldo.

The difference being Ronaldo got his head down early and dedicated himself to improving and being the best whilst Garna thought it was a given to happen naturally.

  19. No buy back for you Garna. But glad you are learning to own to your mistakes. It will be an useful skill to mature as a player

  20. It’s sad cos let’s face it we all did love subject 49 at times, he was a bright spark of hope for us during ten hags terrible football. Now I look at some of the terrible tattoos he’s getting and think the guy is having a midlife crisis.

  21. Let’s stop being so bitter to the guy. He reflected on his mistakes and didn’t say a bad thing about the club. Who didn’t make a fool of themselves in their early 20s? The boy lives in a bubble with his cunt of a brother(who’s also very young) and yes men all around him. You only have 1 career as a footballer. Let this be a costly lesson for Garna and let’s hope he grow up from this

  22. I’ve said, he would regret leaving, cuz imo the United fanbase are the most patient with young players and best

Wanted to be the next Ronaldo so much but couldn’t be fucked putting in the work Ronaldo did to get there.

  24. Ego of Ronaldo meanwhile he had the skills of prime Al-Sharaawy on a good day. Whatever you say about Amorim, I’ll always be glad he got rid of this git.
