He was at the club from 2008-2019. More than 10 years. Does that mean he is eligible for a testimonial? I hope they do one for him. Double FA Cup hero.

didn’t recognise him at first with the beard… hate myself 😔. What a player tho!

  3. I love Rambo. Was heartbroken when he got that injury and then when he finally truly came back in 2013/14, I was so happy. What a season that was. Goal vs Liverpool is unforgettable, also that performance v Norwich when he absolutely destroyed them, and the volley on the final day (though that was bittersweet). Class player, with great engine and intelligence, beautiful eye for a pass, and lovely instinct for goals

  4. man i remember his breakout season with the coming of ozil. that first part of the season until he got a frustrating injury was phenomenal. ozil’s magic, ramsey scoring goals for fun, wilshere and cazorla doing bits.

Ill never forget when Rambo broke down in tears when being given a guard of honour before joining Juve. Proper Gunner and most importantly a fantastic person. Rambo was massive for Wales too, a team I like to back (like Scotland) as an Irish man

Man we had such amazing midfielders in the early 10s with Ramsey, Wilshere, Diaby, Cazorla and ofc Ozil. I know we used to get it handed to us unlike today but fun times as a young fan.

  7. Loved this guy so much. I watched the leg break live and I could have sworn you could hear it through the microphones. A very frustrating period as a fan, but man did we have some ballers and play some great football.

For him to come back and have the impact he did, including against Hull City when I was thinking we may never win a trophy again. What a player. Enjoy retirement Rambo 👏
