Have to say I have a sinking feeling that Spurs will get away with it, really didn’t want West Ham to win yesterday – if wolves could have got a result it would have fired them up for their games against Leeds and Spurs too.

Just read that article mesen. Usual BBC filler. They also had the Opta Supercomputer giving us an 11% chance of finishing 18th. The article completely fails to take into account that this year its going to be closer than most and a team on 30 points or more after 31 games IS going down. I can see goal difference being the deciding factor. So we need to avoid those complete headloss games at all costs.

Of all those times where a team was on 30 points after 31 games, how many were in the relegation zone?
Whilst West Ham’s win last night has got me excited for the prospect of Spurs’ relegation, it has also got me worried. I can’t enjoy it. If we lose to Villa tomorrow (likely) and Spurs beat Sunderland (possible) we are very close to the relegation zone.
